New Delhi, July 20 -- The Monsoon Session of Parliament began on a stormy note on Monday, with both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha witnessing repeated disruptions and ultimately being adjourned for the day amid relentless sloganeering by Opposition members over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak, irregularities in donations to the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, and other issues.
The opening day, which began with obituary references in both Houses, quickly descended into disorder as Opposition MPs demanded immediate discussions on the alleged examination scam, police action against protesting students in Delhi, and other matters they described as urgent issues of public importance.
