Lucknow, Aug. 14 -- The monsoon has become active again in Uttar Pradesh with wide spread rains were reported from almost all the 75 districts since on Friday.
On early Friday morning, intermittent drizzle has been falling in 10 cities, including Lucknow, Barabanki, Bareilly, and Sambhal. The remaining districts are cloudy. A rain alert has been issued for all 75 districts today with heavy rain is possible in 15 districts.
Besides, on Thursday, Agra recorded the highest rainfall of 66 mm. Lalitpur received 60 mm, Etah 57 mm, Ballia 36.4 mm, Azamgarh 28.8 mm, and Gorakhpur 26.3 mm. The rain brought down temperatures and brought relief from the humid heat.
