Panchkula, July 8 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a fresh warning of fairly widespread to widespread rainfall across Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh and Delhi over the next two days, with isolated heavy rainfall likely during the period.

The weather office has also forecast another spell of heavy rain over these regions on July 11 and 12 as the Southwest Monsoon continues its rapid advance and is expected to cover the entire country within the next 48 to 72 hours.

According to the IMD's All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued at 7:57 a.m., the Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into the remaining parts of Gujarat and additional areas of Rajasthan and Haryana. The Northern Limit of the Monsoo...
