Panchkula, July 12 -- The southwest monsoon is set to remain active over large parts of the country this week, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting a fresh spell of rainfall, thunderstorms and gusty winds across Haryana and several neighbouring states till July 18.

As rain-bearing clouds spread across north India, the weather is expected to remain dynamic, marked by intermittent showers, flashes of lightning and strong winds.

According to the All India Weather Summary and Forecast Bulletin issued by the National Weather Forecasting Centre of the IMD at 8 a.m. on Sunday, isolated to scattered rainfall is likely over east Rajasthan, west Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh till July 18. The ...
