New Delhi, Sept. 10 -- India's Mona Agarwal secured an LA 2028 Paralympics quota place on Thursday after winning the silver medal in the women's 10m air rifle SH1 event at the World Shooting Para Sport Championships in Changwon.
It was a double podium finish for India, with two-time Paralympic champion Avani Lekhara claiming the bronze medal in the same event. Serbia's 22-year-old Kristina Trifunovic won the gold with a score of 250.2, finishing just 0.2 points ahead of Mona, who shot 250.0. Avani finished third with 229.4.
The silver was Mona's first medal at the World Championships. She had previously won silver at the World Cup at the same venue last year.
