Mumbai, Oct. 31 -- Actor Mohit Malik says understanding Birju Lohar's motivations, rather than judging his actions, was central to his performance in "Mirzapur: The Movie".
Malik said Birju is neither completely good nor completely bad. His strengths, weaknesses, and unexpected decisions make him an interesting character.
"Mirzapur The Movie," after a successful theatrical release, is now arriving on Prime Video India.
Speaking on the occasion, the 42-year-old actor shared that the biggest challenge of playing Birju was understanding his thoughts, circumstances, and the reasons behind his decisions. Instead of judging his actions as right or wrong, he tried to understand the person within.
