Bengaluru, May 15 -- Karnataka's ruling Congress on Friday mounted a coordinated political offensive against the Centre over the latest fuel price hike, with senior ministers accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government of failing both economically and diplomatically while burdening common citizens with rising living costs.
Leading the attack, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge declared that "Modinomics has failed", alleging that the Centre had concealed difficult economic realities during the election period only for the impact to emerge later through rising fuel prices and inflationary pressures.
