Bengaluru, Oct. 26 -- Karnataka Assembly Leader of Opposition R Ashoka on Monday launched a sharp attack on Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and his son, state Minister Priyank Kharge, alleging that the father-son duo could destroy the Congress party, as BJP leaders staged a protest here demanding an apology for the senior Kharge's remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Just two people are enough to destroy the Congress party in the country - the father and the son," Ashoka said, targeting the two leaders during the protest at Freedom Park.
Referring to Mallikarjun Kharge and Priyank Kharge as the senior and younger Kharge, he said they would bring about the Congress party's downfall.
