Cooch Behhar, April 5 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a sharp and wide-ranging attack on West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress, using the recent Malda incident involving members of the judiciary to question the law-and-order situation in West Bengal.
Referring to the episode, the Prime Minister said: "Two to three days ago in Malda, judges were gheraoed and assaulted," and questioned the state administration. "What kind of government is this? What kind of system cannot ensure the protection of constitutional processes?" he asked.
