The Hague, May 17 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten on Saturday visited the iconic Afsluitdijk dam, underscoring the shared commitment between India and the Netherlands to innovative water management solutions, climate resilience, and sustainable infrastructure.

The two leaders toured the 32-km-long Afsluitdijk dam and causeway, regarded globally as a pioneering engineering project in flood control and land reclamation, protecting large parts of the Netherlands from the North Sea while enabling freshwater storage.
