Varanasi, Sept. 20 -- To strengthen the city's sanitation system and make solid waste management more effective, the Municipal Corporation is constructing a modern scientific waste transfer station at Faridpur village in Varanasi.
Once operational, the city's waste will be segregated and disposed of in a scientific and environmentally friendly manner.
On Sunday, Municipal Commissioner Himanshu Nagpal inspected the transfer station under construction in Faridpur. He reviewed the ongoing work at the construction site, including the progress of the boundary wall and shed construction.
