Chennai, March 23 -- Mobis India Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NeoMotion, an assistive technology company from IIT-Madras, focused on enabling mobility and independence for wheelchair users, to distribute 600 NeoFly wheelchairs and NeoBolt motor-powered attachments to wheelchair users across India.

The project, titled "Accessibility and Freedom - Empowering Wheelchair Users with Mobility Assistive Devices," is a Rs 6.3 crore mobility empowerment initiative aimed at enhancing independent mobility for individuals with disabilities by providing assistive solutions that enable both indoor and outdoor movement, a release from NeoMotion here said today.
