Imphal, April 12 -- The suspension of mobile internet and data services in five districts of Manipur continued, while curfew was relaxed from 5 am to 3 pm on Sunday.

Since April 7, the Manipur government has banned internet services in five districts, including Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Kakching, and Bishnupur, after the killing of two children by suspected Kuki militants.

The government had conditionally restored broadband services in a controlled and "liberalised" manner, as per an earlier order issued on April 8, while the ban on mobile internet services continued.
