Mumbai, Sept. 1 -- The Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) officially announced here on Tuesday that it has joined hands with the Karnataka-based anti-Hindi language imposition outfit Kannada Rakshana Vedike (KRV), in order to fight against the "imposition of the Hindi" language on non-Hindi speakers, in their own native states.
According to an MNS spokesperson, a special 10-point 'Common Minimum Programme' is being prepared to bring together linguistic representatives from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Telangana, Puducherry, Goa, West Bengal and Punjab, besides Maharashtra and Karnataka, on a single platform, in order to launch an 'Indian Languages Protection Forum' in New Delhi, sometime between October and November....
