Mumbai, July 16 -- In a stinging rebuke to the union Government, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has launched a scathing attack against the Centre for its apathy toward the ongoing protests regarding systemic failures in national competitive examinations.
The MNS president has officially declared his party's full support for the agitation led by educator and climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, who has been on an indefinite hunger strike at Delhi's Jantar Mantar for over two weeks.
The protest, which began in late June, demands accountability for the NEET paper leak controversy and calls for urgent transparency in the country's examination infrastructure.
