Aizawl, June 28 -- Mizoram's electoral roll has registered a decline of more than 46,000 voters following the completion of digitisation of enumeration forms under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with election authorities attributing the drop to deaths, migration, untraceable voters and other factors.

Officials of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) said the state's electorate now stands at 8,28,877, down from 8,75,068 recorded in the 2025 electoral roll. The revised figure reflects a decrease of 5.28 per cent after the finalisation of digitised enumeration forms.
