Aizawl, Oct. 1 -- Mizoram University has secured a place among the world's top 1,000 universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2027, entering the 801-1000 band, university faculty members said today.
Chief Minister Lalduhoma welcomed the ranking, describing it as a proud moment for Mizoram's academic community and its growing presence on the international education map.
In a social media post, Lalduhoma congratulated the university's vice-chancellor, faculty, researchers, non-teaching staff and students, saying the global ranking reflected the institution's focus on research, innovation and holistic education.
