Aizawl, July 27 -- Mizoram has secured Rs 120 crore in performance-based financial assistance from the Centre for strengthening public health infrastructure, with the funds earmarked for upgrading four community health centres, establishing infectious disease facilities and improving maternal, child and tuberculosis care across the state.
Chief Minister Lalduhoma announced the allocation during a visit to Zoram Medical College and Hospital (ZMC&H) at Falkawn on Monday, accompanied by Health Minister Lalrinpuii and Adviser to the Chief Minister TBC Lalvenchhunga.
