Aizawl, May 20 -- In a major push towards digital healthcare governance and improved public service delivery, the Mizoram government on Wednesday launched an Online Medical Referral System aimed at simplifying and accelerating the process of referring patients for treatment outside the state.
The system was officially launched by Health & Family Welfare Minister Lalrinpuii at the SAD Conference Hall in MINECO, Aizawl.
Speaking at the event, the Minister described the introduction of the online referral facility under the Health & Family Welfare Department as a significant step forward in modernising healthcare administration and making services more accessible to the public.
