Aizawl, June 26 -- Mizoram has emerged as the first among 16 states and three union Territories undertaking the Election Commission of India's (ECI) Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls to complete 100 per cent digitisation of enumeration forms, finishing the exercise three days ahead of the June 28 deadline.

Officials in the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) said the digitisation process was completed on Thursday evening, making Mizoram the first state in the third phase of the nationwide revision exercise to achieve full digitisation.
