Aizawl, May 20 -- The Chief Minister's Charitable Trust (CMCT) in Mizoram will now function as an implementing agency for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives undertaken by government departments, societies, NGOs and individuals, following a decision taken during the Trust's annual meeting.
The Board of Trustees meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Lalduhoma at the Chief Minister's Office in Aizawl.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed the Trust's financial position for the previous year and discussed future plans for strengthening its activities and outreach.
The Board also approved measures aimed at expanding the Trust's role in facilitating and implementing CSR-funded programmes across the state.
