Aizawl, April 23 -- Mizoram recorded a notable improvement in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination results this year, with the overall pass percentage rising to 80.31, officials said on Thursday while declaring the results.
The figure marks a steady increase from last year's 76.68 per cent, reflecting a gradual upward trend in student performance in the Class 10 board examinations conducted by the MizoramBoard of School Education (MBSE).
A total of 18,257 students appeared for the examinations held in February and March this year. Of the 8,448 boys who took the exams, 81.16 per cent successfully cleared them. Among the 9,809 girls, the pass percentage stood slightly lower at 79.59 per cent, according to official data.
