Aizawl, June 1 -- The Mizoram government has appointed a senior district official to assist an ongoing inquiry into alleged irregularities and governance issues within the Chakma Autonomous District Council (CADC), which has remained under Governor's Rule for nearly a year.
According to a recent notification issued by the District Council & Minority Affairs Department, Lalnuntharzela, Sub-Divisional Commissioner in the Deputy Commissioner's Office at Lawngtlai, has been designated as the Presenting Officer for the Commission of Inquiry examining the affairs of the CADC.
