Mirzapur, Sept. 22 -- The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), being organised in Greater Noida from September 25, is expected to provide a major boost to Mirzapur's carpet industry and help establish its products in global markets.
Around 10 carpet traders and two confectionery businesses from the district will participate in the trade show and showcase their products. Domestic and international businesses, along with importers from 86 countries, will have an opportunity to view Mirzapur's attractive carpets, rugs, and other handicraft products.
The event will provide local carpet traders with a platform to connect with new markets and international buyers, potentially opening up new export opportunities.
