Agartala, May 25 -- A 14-year-old boy was taken into custody on Sunday evening on charges of raping a six-year-old girl in the area near the Teliamura police station in Tripura's Khowai district.
The boy, who is a Class IX student, reportedly enticed the girl on Saturday while her parents were not at home.
Police said that the issue came to light on Saturday night when the girl expressed intense pain and shared her experience with her mother.
