Bengaluru, March 9 -- The issue of some ministers remaining absent from the Assembly for several sessions came up for discussion in the meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), with Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Arvind Bellad saying that the Chief Minister has assured that such ministers will be made to attend the House.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Bellad said the matter was raised during the PAC meeting and the Chief Minister responded by assuring that ministers who have not been attending the Assembly would be asked to be present in the House.

He said there was also an exchange of views on how discussions should be conducted during the 13-day Budget session of the legislature.
