New Delhi, March 27 -- Delhi PWD Minister Parvesh Verma on Thursday urged people to bring the Navratri 'Khetri' (ritual sowing of barley seeds as offering) to processing units, and not immerse it in the Yamuna river.
Minister Verma, along with his family on Thursday offered prayers at the revered Jhandewalan Temple.
On this occasion, he shared an emotional message with the people of Delhi, urging them to uphold responsibility alongside faith, and describing the "Khetri" sown during Navratri festival, as a symbol of devotion, tradition, and personal effort, he made a heartfelt appeal to citizens.
Verma stated, "By the grace of Maa, we all grow khetri. it carries our faith, hard work, and emotions. But I would like to make a small request....
