Visakhapatnam, Sept. 22 -- Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P Narayana on Tuesday directed officials to complete ongoing infrastructure projects in Visakhapatnam within the stipulated timeframe, preferably within 18 months.
Narayana said 16 infrastructure projects involving Rs 3,892 crore had been launched in the city, with Rs 3,531.47 crore being taken up through the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) and Rs 369.49 crore through the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA).
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu virtually laid the foundation stones for development works worth Rs 11,360 crore in 123 municipalities across 26 districts from Kuppam.
