Sangli, Aug. 24 -- Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister and Sangli Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil has called for a united effort to make the district drug-free, urging people to resolve to break the chains of addiction and protect the younger generation.
Speaking at a programme organised to mark the conclusion of the "Nashamukti Nirdhar Padyatra" organised under the Drug-Free Sangli District campaign, Patil said the top priority of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the state government was to prevent the youth from being drawn into drug abuse and safeguard their future.
