New Delhi, Aug. 6 -- Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra on Thursday said the limited incidents of waterlogging and the near-normal movement of traffic despite heavy rainfall over the past two days reflected the improved preparedness and coordinated efforts of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and the Delhi Traffic Police.

Claiming that the city's response to the rains marked a significant improvement over previous years, Malhotra said the civic agencies had acted swiftly to clear waterlogged stretches and minimise disruption to daily life.
