Dharamshala, May 12 -- Delhi Capitals batter David Miller has said that experience and personal pride helped him stay calm under pressure as DC pulled off a record chase against Punjab Kings to keep their IPL 2026 playoff hopes alive.

The Capitals chased down 211 with three wickets to spare at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Monday, registering the highest successful IPL chase at the venue.

Miller played a key role in the win with a crucial 51 after DC found themselves struggling at 14/2 and later 38/3 during the chase. Captain Axar Patel led the recovery with a rapid 56, while debutant Madhav Tiwari's quickfire 18 off eight balls proved decisive towards the end.
