Chandigarh, May 13 -- Common households in Punjab are set to face additional financial pressure as major dairy brands, including Verka and Amul, announced a hike in milk prices by Rs 2 per litre.
According to official notifications issued by Milkfed (Verka), the revised rates will come into effect from the morning of May 14. This increase will be applicable across all milk variants, including full cream, standardised, toned, and cow milk, affecting consumers across Ludhiana and the rest of the state.
