Imphal, June 3 -- Manipur Police and Security forces carried out four separate operations in Manipur over the past two days, resulting in recovery of weapons and the arrest of suspected militants .
Police said security forces today recovered a substantial cache of arms and ammunition from a hut in the Irilbung area, Imphal East district. The recovered items included two AK rifles, one SLR rifle, one 9mm carbine, four hand grenades, two AK rifle magazines, one SLR magazine, and 42 rounds of different calibre.
