New Delhi, July 18 -- As the world grapples with rising energy costs and economic strain triggered by the US-Iran war massively impacting the Strait of Hormuz, five Middle Eastern nations are joining forces to reduce their dependence on the vital waterway.
Washington's Presidential Envoy for Syria and Iraq, Thomas Barrack, revealed that the US is coordinating with Syria, Jordan, Turkiye, Lebanon and Egypt on a plan to build alternative transport and energy corridors.
