Los Angeles, Feb. 27 -- The newly released trailer for "The Christophers" pairs Ian McKellen, 86, with Michaela Coel, 38, in a story of art, deception and rivalry.
McKellen portrays Julian, a once-celebrated painter whose children, played by Jessica Gunning and James Corden, commission Coel's character to complete his famed series of works, according to PEOPLE.
Directed by Steven Soderbergh with a script by Ed Solomon, "The Christophers" is so titled over the paintings in question. Coel's character quickly surmises that she's been hired to commit forgery, replicating McKellen's famous style.
