Jaipur, June 14 -- A team of the ENT and Head and Neck Surgeons at the Mahatma Gandhi Hospital here, has successfully performed, a highly complex surgery for a Carotid Body Tumor (Carotid Body Paraganglioma) on a Yemeni patient.
The surgery that happens to be the first operation of this sort in any hospital of Rajasthan, was performed by a high profiled team of doctors led by world renowned ENT and Head surgeon Prof (Dr) Suresh Chandra Sharma along with Dr. Bhinyaram, on a 64-year-old Yemeni woman, Mrs. Sabah Omar Mohammed Ba Naga, setting a new benchmark in advanced head and neck surgery.
