Rijeka (Croatia), Aug. 26 -- Mexican twins Mia Cueva Lobato and Lia Cueva Lobato won the girls' synchronized 3m springboard title, while Russia's Matvei Pomoshnikov triumphed in the boys' Group A 1m springboard at the 2026 World Aquatics Junior Diving Championships here.

The 15-year-old Lobato sisters scored 283.02 points to secure Mexico's second gold medal of the championships on Tuesday. Russia's Viktoria Kazantseva and Nadezhda Trifonova took silver, while Canada's Lila Stewart and Mackenzie-Mai Van Houtte-Cachero won bronze.
