Kolkata, May 13 -- The Kolkata Police on Wednesday announced a set of traffic restrictions around Chingrighata crossing on EM Bypass to facilitate the lifting of concrete segments of the elevated Airport-New Garia Metro Railway corridor.
According to the police notification given out by Kolkata Police Commissioner Ajay Nand, the restrictions will be in place between May 15 and May 18 in the first phase for segment launching work between Pier No 317 and Pier No 318.
The second phase of restrictions will come into play from May 22 till May 25 for segment launching work between Pier No 318 and Pier No 319.
