Toronto, May 10 -- Lionel Messi scored a goal and set up two others as Inter Miami secureda 4-2 away win over Toronto in their MLS clash.

The visitor opened the scoring when Rodrigo De Paul's free-kick rebounded off the Toronto wall only for the Argentina international to smash in the rebound on Saturday.

Luis Suarez doubled the lead by running onto Messi's pass and firing a first-time effort past goalkeeper Luka Gavran. Messi was again the provider when he played a one-two with Sergio Reguilon, who calmly slotted the ball into the far corner in the 73rd minute.

Eight-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi put the result beyond doubt two minutes later, stabbing home from 12 yards after De Paul's cross from the right.
