Shillong, June 11 -- Meghalaya will host the North East India Infrastructure Summit to promote economic growth, strengthen cooperation and align development priorities across the Northeastern states.

Union Minister of Roads Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari, will inaugurate the two-day summit, scheduled to be held on June 15 and 16, at Lariti Performing Arts and Culture Centre in Shillong.

The Federation of Industry & Commerce of North Eastern Region (FINER) is organising the event, with Build India-an organisation focused on promoting infrastructure development, innovation, and sustainable growth across India-as the co-organiser.
