Parmod KumarNew Delhi, July 23 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday set aside the Meghalaya High Court order upholding the trial court order granting bail to Sonam Raghuvanshi, the prime accused in the alleged murder of her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, during their honeymoon in Meghalaya, holding that she was not entitled to bail, while drawing a distinction between non-supply of the grounds of arrest and the adequacy of the grounds furnished.

Allowing the Meghalaya government's challenge to the State High Court order upholding the trial court's order granting bail to Sonam Raghuvanshi, a Bench of Justice M.M. Sundresh and Justice P.B. Varale held that, in the facts and circumstances of the case, she was not entitled to bail.
