Shillong, Sept. 7 -- The Meghalaya government has invited the Khasi Students' union (KSU) for another round of talks to discuss the five-point charter of demands on Tuesday.

In a letter addressed to the Assistant General Secretary of the KSU, Pynshaiborlang Rani, by the Joint Secretary of Home, D.D. Syngai, it was stated that the meeting will be chaired by Chief Secretary Dr Shakil P. Ahammed to discuss the issues and concerns raised by the union during the meeting with Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on August 26.

Chief Minister Sangma held a meeting with the KSU following their August 19 black-flag bike rally, which was organised to press the government to implement the Union's demands.
