Shillong, Aug. 4 -- The Meghalaya government on Tuesday contributed Rs. one crore to the Assam Chief Minister's Relief Fund to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for people affected by the devastating floods that have hit several parts of the state, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Tuesday.
Announcing the contribution in a post on X, Sarma said the Meghalaya government has contributed the fund from its Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
