Shillong, June 21 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Sunday sought Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's intervention for several key infrastructure projects which require cooperation from the ministry of defence.
Sangma held discussion with Singh after performing yoga at the Eastern Air Command headquarters here in Meghalaya.
Sangma briefed the Defence Minister on the proposed expansion of Shillong Airport and the four-laning of the Shillong-Barik Point road.
He also briefed Singh on the proposed road link between Ranikor and Ratacherra along the India-Bangladesh border.
