Shillong, Sept. 5 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Saturday called on union Home Minister Amit Shah amid reports that nine United Democratic Party (UDP) legislators plan to shift allegiance to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Although the Chief Minister did not specify the details of his meeting with Shah on social media, sources said the discussion revolved around a possible political realignment in Meghalaya.
