Shillong, May 7 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Thursday hit out at the opposition Voice of the People Party (VPP) for not attending the all-party meeting to discuss on the report of the expert committee on the State Reservation Policy.
During the all-party meeting, the Chief Minister briefed political parties on the key findings, recommendations, and the legal and constitutional issues linked to the reservation policy. The report was tabled in the state assembly during the budget session earlier this year.
