Shillong, June 10 -- The Meghalaya High Court today granted an additional day to the legal counsel representing Sonam Raghuvanshi, the prime accused in the murder of her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi, to file a written argument challenging the State's plea against her conditional bail.
During the hearing, Sonam's legal counsel S Khyriem requested Justice Wanlura Diengdoh an accommodation in the matter, saying "as the written argument could not be filed due to the matter being voluminous".
"Accordingly, as prayed for, list this matter tomorrow 10.06.2026 for filing of the written argument, failing which necessary orders will be passed," Diengdoh stated in his order.
