Shillong, Aug. 4 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya Frontier on Tuesday launched the "Spandan League-2026" Volleyball Championship at NEIGRIHMS Sports Complex, Mawdiangdiang.
Inspector General of BSF, Meghalaya Frontier, O.P. Upadhyay inaugurated the "Spandan League -2026" under the Khelo India initiative with the commencement of its volleyball tournament, marking the first of the three sporting disciplines to be conducted under the league.
The event also forms part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the BSF and reaffirms the force's commitment to promoting sports, youth engagement and community participation.
