Meeting held to review facilities, security arrangements for devotees visiting Kashi during Shravan month

Varanasi, July 7 -- A meeting was held on Tuesday in the board room of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple under the joint chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner S. Rajalingam and Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal to review preparations for the upcoming Shravan month of 2026.

The meeting reviewed in detail the facilities and security arrangements to be provided to devotees visiting Baba Vishwanath during the Shravan month.

This year, the Shravan month begins on July 30 and continues until August 28 (Rakshabandhan). This year, there will be four Mondays in the Shravan month.
