Hyderabad, June 10 -- Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Captain N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Wednesday announced that restoration works of the Medigadda Barrage and the other barrages under the Kaleshwaram Project would be completed by the summer of 2027 and the structures would be brought back into operation.
Talking to the media, after inspecting the progress of technical investigations, hydrological studies, geotechnical tests and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) surveys at Medigadda, the Minister said all technical and hydrological studies would be completed by the first week of July and the reports would be submitted to the Central Water Commission (CWC) and the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA).
